FAQs

  • Do I have to buy a set, or can I pick-and-choose my meals?
We currently offer both options! Each month, we offer 8 menu items available to order. You may choose a set of 8 full size meals (each feeds 6-8 people), 8 half size meals (each meal feeds 3-4 people), or 16 half size meals. If you choose to buy a set of the monthly menu, you'll get the best deal on price. However, we do not allow for substitutions if you choose to order a set. Want more control over which meals you get? Go á la carte and choose whatever you like from the monthly menu. We do offer discounts there as well. All meals have a base price. However, the more you buy, the better discount you can get.
  • Do you offer discounts if I buy multiple freezer meals?
We sure do! To get the best possible price, buy your meals in a full set of the monthly menu. Please note that we do not allow for meal substitutions if you purchase the monthly set. If you'd rather buy your meals a la carte, meaning you pick-and-choose your own combination from the monthly menu, here's the discount schedule for that:
  • Can I mix-and-match freezer meals with DIY Meal Starter Kits?
Yes, of course! Mix-and-match to your heart's content! We totally get it. Sometimes, you want to get creative in the kitchen, spend a little more time figuring out fun sides or adding your own flair to the main dish--that's when Meal Starter Kits are the perfect solution. Other times, life gets crazy and you just need things done and ready to go--then it's freezer meals for the win! However you choose to mix it up, you can still get free shipping on your order of $100+. **Sets cannot be mixed for discounts. For example, you can't purchase 2 freezer meals and 2 meal starter kits and get a discount. You must reach the discount threshold for each item, e.g. 4 freezer meals or 4 meal starter kits to receive discounts on those items.
  • How many people does a freezer meal feed?
We have two different sizes of freezer meals available: Full Size and Half Size. Our Full Size meals provide the main course for 6-8 people. Our Half Size meals provide the main course for 3-4 people. All you need to add is a side or two to round out your meal.
  • How long are meals good for?
Your meals are best kept frozen until you need to use them. They are best when used within 3 months. This ensures the best quality and flavor. You should only store meals in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before using.
  • Do I need to thaw my meals before cooking?
In general, it is best to thaw most meals before cooking, however, each meal has individual cooking instructions which may allow for cooking from frozen. Please refer to specific instructions for each meal for more detailed information.
  • How do I cook my meals? Are they all crockpot meals?
Here at Dinner Crafts, we pride ourselves on offering a variety of delicious freezer meals with a variety of cooking methods to provide you with the best quality meals possible. That means you won't find 60 crockpot recipes on our menu. Say HELLO to dinners that are baked in the oven, cooked on the stovetop, or slow-cooked to fall-apart perfection. We choose the method that is best for a particular meal. You can find the specific cooking method for each menu item by following the "Recipes" link. There, you can also find complete cooking instructions, serving sizes, nutrition facts, and more, for our monthly menus and DIY Meal Starter Kits.
  • Where do I find portion size and nutrition facts?
You can find all the information about each meal on its specific cooking instructions page. Just click on the "Recipes" tab to find complete cooking instructions, serving sizes, nutrition facts, and more, for our monthly menus and DIY Meal Starter Kits. You may also scan the QR code on your package label to jump straight to the "Our Menu" page.
  • Do you offer accommodations for food allergies?
While we do our very best to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities in any way that we can, we must state that all of our food is produced in a shared kitchen where food items with any of the major food allergens may be processed. This means we cannot guarantee that our food will be 100% allergen free. That being said, when we receive a request for an allergen-free set of meals or meal starter kits, we take the utmost care to ensure the risk of cross-contamination is extremely low. We process special requests separately from our regular meal prep. Gluten Free - Every single one of our menu items may be made with gluten free ingredients. Our founder has a son with celiac disease, so she take this very seriously. Dairy Free - Many of our menu items may be modified to be made diary free by putting cheese on the side, for example. However, not all menu items will be their best without dairy included, so we can't guarantee that all meals may be made dairy free. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions: admin@dinnercrafts.com. Nut Free - We have very few menu items that involve nuts. Besides our Thai Peanut Chicken Satay, we have 3-4 other menu items that have nuts on the side. You can request nut free and we will omit the nuts on the side and process your food completely separately to ensure that it doesn't come in contact with our nut containing meals. Again, we cannot 100% guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination in our shared kitchen, so please act with your best judgement. To request a special accommodation, please make a request at checkout. You may also reach out to us via email: admin@dinnercrafts.com Check out the cooking instructions for individual meals for more specifics on the allergens in each. Go to the "Our Menu" tab to find them. You may always feel free to ask about additional allergens in our meals. Please email us at: admin@dinnercrafts.com if you have specific questions.

Kits may also include specialty ingredients like fresh ginger, panko, or cashews. Go á la carte and choose whatever you like from that menu. We do offer discounts there as well. All kits have a base price, however, the more you buy, the better discount you can get. Better yet, buy the monthly set, and then add additional kits to make sure you're well stocked.

  • Do you deliver to my area?
We are currently offering delivery to UT County only. You may choose to pick up your order in Pleasant Grove or Springville.
  • How much does delivery cost?
Great question! If you place an order for $100+, delivery to your door is on us! In other words, it's free! Any orders below $100 will incur a $10 delivery charge for Utah County.
  • When can I expect my order to arrive?
Utah County orders will be delivered between 6:00-8:00 pm on the Tuesday you have selected.
  • Do I need to be home when my order is delivered?
No. However, if you’re not going to be home, you must leave a cooler out on your porch that is large enough for your order. Food will be delivered frozen, but is your responsibility to keep it safe once it has been dropped off.
  • What if I'm out of town on delivery day?
If you know that you are going to be away when your order is delivered, you may provide us with an alternate delivery address for a friend or family member (in Utah County) that is willing to accept your order. • How do I book a private group session?
You will just need to go to our "Private Groups" tab and fill out the form for your group. Let us know what date/time you're interested in and any other relevant information. If you already know what you want on your menu, that's great! Otherwise, you can get that to us as soon as you know.
  • How many people do I need to book a private group?
For private groups, we require a purchase of at least 8 sets of meals. This means you can basically decide on your own group size as long as at least 8 sets of meals are purchased. For example, you could have 4 people attending a group with 2 sets each, or 16 people sharing 8 sets. Just FYI, our Springville location can easily accommodate 10 people each making their own set of meals. You may then choose to bring helpers, but it will start to get a little crowded. At our Pleasant Grove location, we have a lot more space to spread out. We can easily accommodate up to 16 people each making their own set of meals, with plenty of room for some extra helpers.
  • How much does a private group session cost?
